Puliyogare

Recipe Courtesy: Jaya V Shenoy cook book 'Oota Upahaar'

Puliyogare(Puliyodare) is an Iyengar rice specialty with unique spicy tangy sweetish taste and wonderful smell of Southern Spices. Instant Puliyogare powders are available in the market but nothing like authentic Puliyogare with Gojju made like the Iyengars do. In the pictures, you may see the difference between the one made with gojju and the one made with instant masala.
